Tune in to hear a sweet story of a sister and her helpful little brother. When life seems too hard for you, remember, nothing is too hard for God.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And when you’ve got a disability, life can be very hard – too hard it seems. Lacie is a young, teenage girl with cerebral palsy and for her, getting from one place to another is so challenging. But not when her little brother Jake is around. Jake is only six years old, but oh, what a helper he is for his sister – handing Lacie her crutches, helping fix her wheelchair cushion. Little Jake is all about making his sister’s life less hard. Jeremiah 32 says, “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” And friend if nothing is too hard for God? Hey, that’s all the hope we need when life seems too hard for us. And we can pass on that hope and help, just as Jake serves his sister Lacie. Curious to know how? Then visit joniandfriends.org where you’ll find ways to serve people with disabilities.
