Romans 15 commands the strong to help the weak. If you are feeling strong today, consider joining the Wheels for the World team to help others in need. Check it out at Joniandfriends.org.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. When our Wheels for the World teams come back from distributing wheelchairs overseas, they always have such wonderful stories to tell! Like the one of Mario Morales in Guatemala. At the age of 73, Mario is very frail, and he is slowly losing use of his legs. Each morning, Mario would go out to the field with his son and watch him from the edge, sitting in his old, wooden chair. But who wants to sit on the sidelines all day? That problem was solved when our Wheels team provided Mario with a metal walker that had wheels. And now? This man is able to go out into the field with his son. You know, Romans 15 commands the strong to help the weak – and that is exactly what our physical therapist did by providing Mario with that walker. Do you have a heart for helping the weak? Then think about joining a Wheels for the World team at joniandfriends.org. That’s joniandfriends.org.
