Don’t let your limitations hinder you from serving in God’s kingdom.
My friend Zachery who is a quadriplegic, is blind and also deaf. His mother often serves as his interpreter and people communicate with him by 'signing' into his hands while mouthing their words close to his face! But these many limitations do not deter him [Zach earned his degree from Wright State University]. He heard about Joni and Friends and asked if we could help him start a disability ministry at his church in Dayton, Ohio. We provided the training, and now, the whole congregation is onboard, rallying around Zachery to make their church welcoming to special-needs families. Zach's disability may be challenging, but the Holy Spirit keeps shining brightly through this remarkable man. So friend, let Zach be your inspiration today. Don’t let your limitations hinder you from serving in God’s kingdom as well; find a Joni and Friends team near you to help at joniandfriends.org. I’m Joni Eareckson Tada.
