Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And when our Wheels for the World team was in Brazil, we met Arthur and his family. Arthur was a devoted dad to his seven children, one of whom, little David was born with a disability. This father has to work seven days a week just to keep food on the table, and there’s hardly time to sleep. He worries constantly about his disabled son. When we met him, Arthur looked so exhausted. But when little David was placed into his new wheelchair, the father was absolutely thrilled. When he heard the salvation message and opened his heart to Christ, the exhaustion vanished from his face. Arthur said to our Wheels team, “This is the first time I have felt peace in years.” First Peter 5:7 says to cast all your cares on God, for He cares for you.
