Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Recently, I met with one of our international partners, Pastor Alex from Ghana, West Africa. Pastor Alex serves as camp pastor for our International Family Retreats in Ghana and he’s doing a remarkable work reaching disabled children in his country with the love of Christ. Many of these special needs families have been swayed this way and that by local witch doctors that promise to heal their loved ones with magic potions and voodoo. Even Pastor Alex sought out voodoo and drank the potions of witch doctors when he was a young man. But now, he is sharing John 14 with these families, reminding them that only Jesus is the “way, the truth, and the life.” So, will you join me in praying that the spiritual eyes of these special-needs families will be opened?
