Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. I remember when my nephew, Ken Tyler, turned 14 years old and overnight that young man changed. I mean he became this handsome young man with a deep voice. He grew – as they say – leaps and bounds. Well, I believe this can also happen to Christians. I am convinced there are times in our walk with Christ when we can grow over night – leaps and bounds! The clue to this growth can be found in Romans 8 where the question is asked, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, anguish, famine, hardship, or sword?” Friend, nothing today can separate you from the love of Christ. So allow your anguish and your tribulations to press you up against the love of Jesus. You’ll grow overnight when you trust that God loves you, right there, smack-dab in the middle of your toughest of times.
