Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Once when our Wheels for the World team was in Africa, we traveled 4 hours to bring a wheelchair to a paralyzed man. His name was Albert. He had been living in a back bedroom in his parent’s home for 7 years. People in his village were curious about Albert, but they were afraid to go to his house to see him. Well, while our Wheels team began to work on Albert’s chair, curious villagers gathered outside his home. When we wheeled Albert outside, everyone cheered with singing and dancing. Seeing the whole village gathered in one place, our team pastor stood up and shared the gospel. Many people received Jesus that day and it all happened because of Albert. Here we thought it was about one man and one wheelchair. But God had in mind salvation for an entire village. Come and serve with Wheels for the World. All you’ve got to do is go to joniandfriends.org for all the details.
