You see my Lord Jesus is the bread of heaven, the real spiritual food, and he invites me – he invites you – to put him to the taste test. Psalm 34 says, “Happy is the man who puts his trust in the Lord…oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!” Oh friend, partake of the Lord, and your appetite for joy, purpose and meaning will be completely satisfied. So, go ahead and put your Savior to the taste-test in the midst of some trial. Because as you do, trust in him will increase.
