Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And Lori Lufkin is critically ill. She has survived cervical, uterine, and ovarian cancer—and lymphoma—and now is in need of a heart transplant. She knows her “days are numbered,” and that tomorrow she may not be there to help her children. So, what is she doing? She’s passing on her courage. Lori instructs her children with God’s word where it says, “To be strong and courageous, for the Lord will never leave them.” So just how courageous are her kids? Well, her 14-year-old [who, by the way, has no arms] has told his mom he’s going to work hard to be a professional football player! Oh friend, all of us could say that our days are numbered; some of us sooner than others. So, draw inspiration from Lori and learn to pass on God's courage and his valor through your example, as well through his Word. It can’t help but impact everyone around you!
