When you are broken, you’re in a great position to experience the power of God.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And over the years, I’ve made a note of the verses I quote most often, and 2 Corinthians 4 ranks right up there. It says, “We are handicapped on all sides, but we are never frustrated; we are puzzled, but never in despair. We may be knocked down but we are never knocked out! Every day we experience something of the death of the Lord Jesus, so that we may also know the power of the life of Jesus in these bodies of ours.” Oh friend, we’re supposed to experience pain and loss. But as we embrace the suffering that God allows, it is a way of dying to ourselves. It’s what it means to experience “the death of the Lord Jesus.” But then, the power of the life of Jesus can be released in these bodies of ours.
