Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And when our Wheels for the World team was in Brazil, we met Jessica, a stylish little lady who had a very significant disability. She was a real girly girl; all dressed in pink. When we asked more about her, we learned that Jessica is a manicurist – I guess that’s what accounted for the style! And oh, was she thrilled to get her first wheelchair – this was really going to help her in her work. All of us were so impressed with this young entrepreneur. She wasn’t letting her disability stop her one bit. But the icing on the cake? When we showed Jessica her wheelchair: it was pink, her favorite color! You know, Psalm 139 says that God examines our hearts and knows everything about us. It’s true in Jessica’s case, and in your life, as well. So, if you’d like to help someone like Jessica by serving on a Wheels for the World team, then please visit us joniradio.org. Again, that’s joniradio.org.
