The Bible says we get to join the angels in worshiping God before his throne in heaven. Like the VIP section, you get to enjoy this privileged access anytime all because of Christ.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. I’ve been reading through the Bible, and I’ve noticed something in the 28th chapter of 1 Chronicles. David is about to lay plans for the building of the temple and “rose to his feet and said: ‘… I had it in my heart to build a house as a place of rest for the ark of the covenant … for the footstool of our God.’” Did you catch that? Back in the Old Testament, David and the people were to worship in a place he referred to as God's footstool. But, friend, think of the far greater access we enjoy because of Christ. For the Bible says we join the angels in worshiping God before his throne in heaven. What privileged access we enjoy. What’s more, Jesus says in the book of Revelation, “To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne….” Oh, how amazing is God’s grace and favor! So be eager to worship him, onward and upward to his throne!
