If you’re having a tiring day, open your eyes to God’s wonders. He is ever present in your day.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And some days, they can be particularly long. You plow through work, there’s an accident on the freeway, your son gets the flu, and you wonder if God’s even present. Well, I remember one day; I was just getting home, exhausted from work, still recovering from a long trip across country, when – oh my goodness – as I got out of the van, I looked up, and there was the most glorious rainbow set against a golden-pink sky! It was just like God saying to me, “Here’s my sign; I’m here; I’m present; I’m involved in your day.” Was I making more of that rainbow than I should? I don’t think so. Because God says in Genesis 9, "I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth." And the earth includes me and you, friend. If you’re having a tiring day, open your eyes to his wonders. Because he’s ever present in all your days.
