If you want to live a life filled with the Spirit, then give Him more room in your heart.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And have you ever looked at other Christians and thought, man, they must have more of the Holy Spirit than I do. They live such powerful lives! But is it true that they have more of the Spirit? Titus 3:5 says that “He saved us through the washingof rebirth and renewalby the Holy Spirit [now get this],whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior.” Did you get that? No one person has more of the Spirit than another – God does not dispense the Holy Spirit like gunpowder so that some might live powerfully, and others, not so much. He gives each of us the whole barrel of gunpowder. God has poured out the Spirit generously on us all. So, the question is not, do you have enough of the Spirit but, rather, does the Spirit have enough of you? Want to live a life filled with the Spirit? Then give him more room in your heart.
