Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And at a very early age, little Jessica was diagnosed with hydrocephalus. She now has a shunt that drains extra fluid away from her brain. But Jessica’s health has not stopped her from serving God—actually, it’s encouraged her. Jessica’s only ten, but she’s a Junior Buddy in a respite program and she’s known around church for the way she helps kids with special needs do arts and crafts. Proverbs 20 says, “Even small children are known by their actions.” What children do – and for that matter, what we do as adults — reflects our hearts. Jessica’s passion for serving other kids with disabilities reflects her love for serving God. So, what actions will you take today? How will you be known by those around you? Join Jessica in doing what is right and pure – show your love for God by serving those in need. Learn how at joniandfriends.org.
