Even a repeated biblical message can always inspire anew.

Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And if you call Joni and Friends and are put on hold, you’ll be surprised. You see, instead of classical music or some other tune, callers on hold listen to my short radio messages [just like this one]. Well, the other day I called the office, and I was placed on hold—and, as I listened to me speaking about Romans 8:28, I was reminded afresh of just why God works all things together: it’s to make me more like Jesus. Now, I know these 1-minute messages [I mean, I write them and record them] they are meant to help others, but they teach me. And I bet it’s the same for you when you share a familiar insight from God's Word, too. You tell it to a friend, but it ends up teaching you, right? Or admonishing you. That’s why Romans goes on to say in chapter 15 that “Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us.” So even an oft-repeated biblical message can always inspire.
