Abide in a relationship with Jesus Christ – and right before your eyes a loving, joyful atmosphere can’t help but begin to blossom!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and I love being productive! It’s a great feeling when I finish writing all my radio programs or answering all my emails. But those emails just keep coming! And I guess that’s why God actually commands us to rest. I mean you’d think resting would not be something He would have to require us to do. But sometimes that desire to be productive can really drive us. And if we’re not careful, it can distract us from what is truly important. Oswald Chambers says: “The main thing about Christianity is not the work we do, but the relationship we maintain, and the atmosphere produced by that relationship.” Right there, that’s the key. That’s the important thing. Abide in Jesus Christ and out of that wonderful relationship, an atmosphere of love, hope, and joy can’t help but blossom. And that my friend is really producing something wonderful in your life!
