Volunteer at a Wheels for the World outreach and help mothers like Diana have easier transportation for their child. Share the “incomparable riches” of God. To learn more, visit joniradio.org.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. For the past three years, Diana has had to carry her five-year-old son, Ramez, to school in the DR. Ramez was born with a rare bone disability, and he cannot walk on his own. Recently, his teachers told Diana that she was no longer allowed to carry her son around the classroom. Ramez would need a wheelchair. Diana tried to explain; she said, “Oh here in the Dominican Republic, wheelchairs are only for the rich.” But through a recent Wheels for the World outreach, Ramez’s Heavenly Father – rich in mercy and love – gave Ramez the gift of a wheelchair. And Ephesians 2 tells us to be rich in mercy and love just like our Heavenly Father. So, friend, think about joining one of our outreach teams in sharing the “incomparable riches” of God with those, like Ramez, who have a disability.
