Friend, voice God’s goodness, count your blessings, and watch how partnering with His Spirit shapes your soul!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And doesn’t it feel great when God’s Word tells you to do something, and you actually do it? Well, Psalm 107 says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say this.” There you have it. There’s your command. Just say it. Just repeat, just say how good God is. Give thanks; say it out loud. Speak of his love. Count your blessings. Name them, voice them, search and ponder and turn a thing this way and that to find something, anything for which you can give thanks. Because when you do, you are partnering with God’s Spirit in shaping your soul. Better yet, you are running in the path of righteousness, as another part of God’s Word says. You are obeying His commands. So, speak aloud of God’s goodness and count your blessings today. Because when the redeemed of the Lord say this, it feels great.
