Celebrate all the seasons in your life, the good and the difficult – you never know what God is doing through them!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and after the accident in which I broke my neck, my occupational therapist taught me to paint holding brushes between my teeth. At first, I wasn’t very excited about the idea, but after a while, I grew to love it. And I got fairly good at it and I delighted in painting all sorts of things. God was doing amazing work in my life, and I was expressing my gratitude on canvas. But then, I had to put away my brushes because I started having pain again. I felt so sad when I would wheel by my art studio. But guess what? As of late, I am able to paint once more! Ecclesiastes says that there is a season for everything, and sometimes the close of one season does not necessarily mean it won’t come back again. What about the seasons in your life? Hey, celebrate them all; for you never know what God might bring back around.
