Luis’ joy shows you that the greatest gifts aren’t just for yourself—they’re meant to be shared, spreading the love of Jesus everywhere.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. You know, some kids have such big hearts. I’m thinking of Luis in El Salvador who received a pediatric wheelchair from our Wheels for the World and a gospel bracelet. Luis was overjoyed by his new wheelchair, but he was also very excited about the bracelet. With a huge grin Luis asked, “May I have more gospel bracelets to share with all my friends?” Oh, my goodness, this boy’s first thought was to share the Good News. And so, with a bag full of gospel bracelets, Luis went back to school in his wheelchair, sharing the love of Jesus with his friends and teachers. You know, 1 Peter 4, says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” It’s because sharing really is caring when it comes to the Good News of Jesus. So, share your gifts and talents with kids like Luis by volunteering at a Wheels for the World outreach. Learn more at joniradio.org.
