Find out what pleases the Lord today and – just do it.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And isn’t it wonderful to know that we can actually please the Lord? We can give Him pleasure and delight. I love that. And I love that Ephesians 5 says to find out what pleases the Lord and do it. What actually brings Him delight? Paul urges Timothy to make prayers and intercessions on behalf of everyone – for this is good and pleases God our Savior. Hebrews tells us to do good and share with others, for with such sacrifices God was pleased. Colossians 3 tells us to honor our parents for this pleases the Lord, and 1 Timothy 5 says that to care for your family also pleases the Lord. One of the happiest things about being a Christian, is to know that we can actually make God happy. We can bring gladness and a smile to His heart. So, take the advice of Ephesians 5. Today find out what pleases the Lord and do it.
