Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada with a little history lesson from World War II. You don’t have to read much about the war in the Pacific to know that the Japanese enemy would fight to the death for their Emperor. It was said that such a motive made them absolutely formidable. But we know who ended up winning the war, right? It was the Americans. Our boys would fight to the death for one another. And that motive made them absolutely invincible. In the same way, followers of Jesus are in a fierce spiritual war against an unseen enemy. And we need to fight for each other through prayer, accountability, comfort and encouragement. Romans 15 is our battle cry for it says, “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus.” So, support your Christian friends and watch God do the absolutely invincible.
