Trust in the Lord because with him, you’ve got it!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And not long ago, a friend shared a video of two-year-old Kayden Elijah learning to walk. What’s so special about a little boy learning to walk, you might ask? Well, Kayden was born with a birth defect and doctors recommended his mother terminate the pregnancy. But Kayden’s mother prayed the words of Psalm 28 over herself and her child, saying: “The Lord is my strength, my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.” And, oh, it is so clear that the Lord is the strength of Kayden! Because on that video, you can watch him taking step after step on his prosthetic legs, and with his little walker, he keeps repeating, “I’ve got it. I’ve got it. I’ve got it.” Oh, friend, I don’t know what difficult circumstances you’re experiencing but draw courage from the example of Kayden. Let your heart trust in the Lord, because with him? You got it. And you know what? You can do it.
