Be like Joni’s young friend Ryleigh and share your testimony with your friends or coworkers today.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada—and I have a mini-me. Let me explain. Ryleigh is in the fourth grade, and for her “Historical Hero” project, Ryleigh chose to present my story. She even dressed up like me—with a wheelchair and arm braces to go along with her “Joni” look! Well, when I heard about this, I was so honored that this little girl would call me her “hero.” But what most brings joy to my heart? The fact that, in a public elementary school, Ryleigh did not hesitate to testify to her friends how Jesus can help in hard times. And I think Ryleigh teaches us all a lesson. Because we’ve all faltered at some point in sharing our testimony with friends or coworkers. But Mark 5 says, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you.” Oh, friend, God has done so much for you; so, let’s get to it. Follow Ryleigh’s lead and be a witness to everyone in the public square!
