Whatever your weakness, remember that God can use it to show His strength and make a difference in the world.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and if you’re on Facebook, you’ve probably come across the story of Sam “the dancing barista.” Sam is a 17-year-old who works as a barista at his local Starbucks. Because of his autism, Sam is constantly moving, dancing, hopping, shifting his weight. Some view it as a weakness, but at work, Sam’s dancing helps him focus. While making a latte, this young man moves this way and that, dancing to the music. And customers, they love it! And it’s Sam’s dancing—that is, his need to be in constant movement—which has made him a social media sensation. In 2 Corinthians 12, the Lord says, “My power works best in weakness.” What might seem like a weakness, Sam is using to show the world that people with autism can hold a job. And it is a great reminder for you and me. Whatever your weakness friend, remember, God can use it to reveal His strength in you.
