There is a plan; there is a purpose, and God will fulfill it for you – no matter what troubles you face.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. When you first believed in Christ you may have heard those familiar words, “God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.” And so, you excitedly embarked on your spiritual journey, pleased and comforted to know that God had a unique and special plan just for you. But then troubles started piling up: you didn’t get the college acceptance letter in the mail, you received that bad medical report, or your marriage fell apart, and you feel like somehow, you’ve gotten separated from God’s wonderful plan. But Psalm 57 says, “I cry out to God most high, to God, who fulfills his purpose for me...” Friend, there is a plan; there is a purpose, and God will fulfill it [another translation says he will perform it] because he always keeps his promise. So don’t let your troubles overcome you. Remember, even troubles are taken from a page in God’s plan for your life.
