If God took care of Paul in the midst of his problems – you know that God will do the same for you.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And have you ever wondered what the quote “all things” the Apostle Paul is talking about? You know, from Romans 8:28 where he says God works all things for the good of those who love him? Well, in 2 Corinthians 11, Paul lists a few of those “all things” that God used to work together for his good. Things like severe floggings. Being exposed to death. Lashings with a whip, being beaten with rods. Being stoned three times. Shipwrecked, constantly being on the move, facing danger from bandits and false believers; being tired and hungry and thirsty. Paul said he was even cold and naked. I think that most of us can say our problems pale in light of Paul’s list. So, what’s keeping you from trusting in God during the trials you face? If God took care of Paul in the midst of his problems [and he did]; you know that God will do the same for you.
