Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And over in Africa, little Fred was born with a severe disability with only his grandmother wanting to care for him. She has to go and work in the fields, which means little Fred lays on a straw mat for hours, alone at home. This little boy desperately needed a wheelchair, and so our Wheels for the World physical therapists and mechanics arrived and fitted him to just the right chair. But that wasn’t all. Fred and his grandmother needed something more – they needed Jesus. They needed his compassion, his love, his strength, to overcome the hardships there in Africa. But they were so blessed when they read Philippians 4 – “God will supply every need of [ours] according to the riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Would you please join us as we help meet the needs – physical and spiritual, of those with disabilities around the world?
