If you have a friend or family member who is hurting, Jesus can help – faith will find a way!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and we all know that wonderful story in Mark 2 where the four friends brought their paralyzed buddy to see Jesus. But it was not without great effort. The fourth verse says, “Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on.” You know what I love about that story? Faith found a way! A crowd may have filled the front yard; the house itself may have been jam-packed with people; and a roof with tiles may have presented a formidable obstacle, but there’s always a way when it means bringing the hurts and needs of a loved one before the Lord. So run the risk, make the effort, and think outside the box. After all, you have a friend or family member who is hurting, and Jesus can help! Your faith can find a way!
