Find out more about how to become an intern at www.joniandfriends.org/internships.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And last year, I had the privilege of working with Lauren Compere; she was one of our Cause 4 Life interns, and we loved having her serve at our Joni and Friends home office. Lauren is a student at Mississippi College, and she has a strong desire to be a Christian counselor and that’s a good thing, since Lauren has a disability and uses a wheelchair. She’s got lots to say to other wheelchair users. In fact, God has expanded her witness among other young women with disabilities; because last year, Lauren won the Ms. Wheelchair Mississippi title. She was able to take everything she learned through her internship and apply it. She told me, “Joni, this internship taught me that even though my hands and feet are limited… my words aren’t. They can still change lives.” Would you like to change lives like Lauren? Then please serve with us as a Cause 4 Life intern. Find out more at joniandfriends.org. And again, that’s joiandfriends.org.
