A Moment with Joni Eareckson Tada

Used for His Glory

Episode Summary

Whatever your background, God will use it for his glory.

Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and every year I travel across the country to various Christian colleges and universities. One time I was giving a message at Wheaton College. Afterward, I received a letter from a Jewish graduate student at Wheaton. She wrote, “Joni, when you spoke, I sat down next to a woman with a disability—she seemed a little hardened. When it was [all] over, she told me, ‘I am Jewish.’ And with that, I began to cry. You see, the town of Wheaton has very few Jewish families; in fact, I am only one of three Jewish students on a campus of 3,000. And can you believe it? God led me—a Jewish believer with the experience of having had a dad who was a quadriplegic—to sit right next to that disabled Jewish woman on a Christian campus of all places.” Oh, friend listening, God used this woman’s background for his glory, and you know what? He will do the same for you.
