Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Christina was at the end of her strength when she arrived at our Wheels for the World outreach in Guatemala. Her back hurt from carrying her 17-year-old disabled brother, Geovani. After her father passed away, Christina knew her family could never afford a wheelchair for Geovani. She was hopeless and exhausted. But as she watched our Wheels Team fit her brother to his new wheelchair, Christina was moved to tears. She said, “Oh my goodness, with this wheelchair, I can now take my brother wherever I go.” And Geovani was ecstatic. It’s what happens all the time on a Wheels outreach. Proverbs 14 says that he who is kind to the needy, honors God. And I invite you to honor the Lord by helping those in need, just like Giovanni. Serve on a Wheels for the World team. You can get all the details on our Wheels for the World page at joniradio.org.
