Welcome families with disabilities with open arms just as Jesus would!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. For Sheila and her family, going to church every Sunday was not the norm. No, not because they were the kind who only liked to show up for church plays or special events. No, you see, Sheila’s son, Andrew, has autism. And getting up and ready for church early in the morning is hard—besides, her son sometimes yells out loud and people stare. But Sheila was thirsty for God’s Word and for fellowship with other believers. Thankfully, we were able to connect her with a wonderful church that has evening services—and a special-needs ministry.
